Air Tahiti Nui fly from Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane thanks to interline agreements/code share with Qantas, Air New Zealand and Emirates.

All flights by Air Tahiti Nui are operated with two-class Airbus A340 aircraft, featuring in-seat video, and multi award-winning cabin service, including being named as "Best Pacific Airline" for three consecutive years in the global Skytrax Airline Awards.

Air New Zealand

Air New Zealand is the South Pacific's largest carrier and flies to Papeete two times a week from Auckland with up to 12 connecting flights from Australian ports, including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and Cairns. 

Air New Zealand offers an extensive network across New Zealand with flexible fares and schedules that allow passengers to combine a holiday in Tahiti with a stopover in New Zealand.

Air New Zealand operates a mixed fleet of aircraft between Australia and Papeete including 767-300 and 777-200ERs all matched with Air New Zealand's trademark award-winning in-flight service. 

Papeete is one of the scheduled launch destinaiton for the new Air New Zealand 787 Dreamliner.
